October 2022

I am way behind with my blogging! We spent November as a family with Covid:/ Although in the big picture we all faired quite well overall, even now in January the fatigue is still present. More on that in the November post...

The weather and temperatures in October was stunning, and we got outside a lot soaking up every sun ray we could get to prepare for the winter ahead. We spent so much time outside it was great!

Aaron took Kenna-Rae to colleagues and she was absolutely thrilled to sit on the tractor.

Family Photo Shoot October 2022

We did what is becoming our annual family photo shoot wth Nycky-jay at Bluetree Photography.

We headed to Willow Creek (one of the girls' favourite places to play), and were pleasantly surprised with a gorgeous autumn scene and stunning light.

Here are some of the amazing photos she captured for us:)

September 2022

We had a beautiful September, and spent a lot of time exploring different playgrounds around Campbell River. We have found some favourite parks for the weekdays, and she great school playgrounds for the weekends. Kenna-Rae is more confident with exploring higher features of the playgrounds, and Violet is more agile and able to explore a lot on her own. It's been pretty fun!

We were able to do some visiting with friends, Stacy, Jeff, & Jackson.

Kenna-Rae and I spent an afternoon at the Comox Valley RC Air field watching Gramps' planes have their first flight.

When the kids see rainbows we have associated them with Grandpa Richard (Aaron's Dad).
Sometimes the light catches the sun catcher in a window or the front glass of the door and rainbows fall across the walls. The kids associate that with Grandpa Richard saying hello.

Still lots of reading happening around here.

Watching their favourite tv show, the front window happenings:)

For Orange Shirt Day, National Day for Truth and Reconciliation,
we went for a family bike ride along the seawall, and made a stop at Frank James Park and Hilchey Park.

Out for a walk in Beaverlodge Lands

I had a day work day with no clients, so I decided to pop over to Port Alberni for a short surprise visit with Grandma Anderosov:)
