October 2019

October was a busy month with lots of visiting. Here are the months highlights:

A visit from Great Auntie Diana

One of these things is not like the other...

Enjoying a crisp sunny autumn day on the seawalk.

Getting ready for a visit from Granny and Jim. Kenna-Rae has her priorities.

September 2019

I have fallen behind again... no surprise I suppose. Here is September's post!

As other's were posting their pictures of their kid's first day back to school, our little one was sending mama off as she returned to work. Returning to work has been a bit of an adjustment trying to balance 'all the things' but we are starting to get into the swing of things. Kenna-Rae is enjoying her time with Daddy, who is on paternity leave until the middle of March.

Cousin time:)

Before we knew it we were at the four month mark!

To celebrate turning four months, we headed down to Oregon to introduce Kenna-Rae to our southern Chamberlin family.
"Wait, I am going to be in the car for how long?"
Catching the ferry to Port Angeles

Sarah Helmick State Park

We walked up to the Chamberlin Cemetery in Monmouth

We popped by Colleen's house to say hi.

We visited Connie and Vernon in Myrtle Creek. We got to visit Kylie, Scott, and Billie as well.
Connie, Aaron, Kenna-Rae, & Vernon
Kylie had the magic, she was the only one to not get crying!

Supersized Jenga! How cool is that? Kylie, Billie, & Scott showed Aaron how it's done.

Next was up to Reedsport, to Penny & Denny's.

We also got visits in with Lana, Toni, Kelly, Gary, Selina, Cache, and lots of little cousins!

Then it was time to head for home. We stopped at one of our favourite beaches along the way before heading inland at Lincoln City.

Our only restaurant stop was of course at Red Lobster.

Ferry ride back to Victoria.
The little miss was a bit grumpy, and we learned the brain development leap is actually right on track for her. All future trips will be planned around these leaps as to make the most of our travels. We learned a lot on our first trip away, and we look forward to many adventures ahead!

Kenna-Rae and mama wore Orange on September 30, because Every Child Matters. We acknowledge those children who were forced to attend residential school, including those who never returned home.
