March 2021

March was a very busy month! We got out for lots of walks, the building project was in full swing

We had some scones put in the living room as well as some recessed lighting.

The basement door my Dad installed last year has been puttied & is ready for paint.

The new smaller kitchen window in the basement kitchen. The sink is being moved to in front of the window, which will allow for extra counter space.

February 2021

February started off with Kenna-Rae being introduced to her big girl bed. She was absolutely thrilled with it, and has been spending lots of time on it with her stuffies and reading books. We have lots of time to make the transition, and tried her first nap in her big girl bed on February 28. We will try sticking to just naps for a while and if that goes smoothly we will start with her night sleep as well.We have been waiting for her bedside table and dresser to arrive and once they do we can move all of her clothes over and complete the transition.

Snow day!

I realized the last time the 3 of us went out in the car to spend time as a family was back in March 2020, 

so we decided to head down to The Spit for a change in scenery.

We made some adjustments to the living room to make a play area, since we are in the process of moving Kenna-Rae from the nursery to her bedroom, which was previously the play room.

As for us, the back yard garage project has been coming along nicely.

As a bit of a side project we are reworking the kitchen we had installed downstairs including moving the sink to under the window, which meant getting a smaller window installed. We will be using the window they took out in the new garage.

January 2021

 January is off to a busy start around here, but then we are learning life with a toddler is just busy all the time. January has a strong theme of reading and going for walks which you are about to see.
