December 2020

Wrapping up 2020! In the beginning of December Kenna-Rae helped Aaron set up the tree, of which we decorated the top half. She enjoyed fluffing up the tree daily and trying to reach the decorations. Aside from the tree we did very little decorating this year, Aaron put out about half the lights he usually does, and I only had a few decorations. I took the week of Christmas off work, and we gave Nanny Tabitha the week off, so Kenna-Rae and I got some extra family time in this month.

Mmmmmm yogurt

Enjoying playing with macaroni in her water table.

Setting the table

Kenna-Rae and I did our own version of 12 days of Christmas. Each morning there was an animal figurine and a book under the tree, and Kenna-Rae really got into it! Each morning when she woke up she woudl head straight to the tree to see what was there waiting for her. We also spaced out Kenna-Rae opening her gifts from people starting on Christmas Eve. Next year will look different with Aaron on paternity leave we won't have to work around his work schedule:)

New Christmas Eve jammies & book

Aaron worked over Christmas Eve and Day, so we had the festivities for the 3 of us on Boxing Day.

Aaron also worked or New Years, so Kenna-Rae and I celebrated by going to bed early;)

On December 19th I officially moved out of my work office. It was a great space for the 2+ years I was there, and it was sad to leave. I am now working from home, which isn't ideal and I am very much looking forward to the garage being done so I can move my office in there. The permit has been submitted so now we wait...

November 2020

November has been a pretty busy time around here. We have still managed to get outside for some nice walks and enjoy all that fall has to offer. We continue to stay in our tiny bubble and enjoy the family time.

Having fun in the leaves.

October 2020

This little one... Never. Stops. Moving. You'll notice there are more videos these days than picture, and that is because pictures usually turn out to be a blur!
