Kenna-Rae continues to keep us on our toes! Her bottom incisors have been in progress, and we are seeing more parts of her personality come out. She really likes to help, whatever the task! She helps wipe the floors and walls, dusts, 'folds' laundry, and helps take the cutlery out of the dishwasher to put away. She also really enjoys watching us food prep and cook.
Although she hasn't expanded her verbal language much, she continues to use sign language, and has very good comprehension. She can show you which animals are which, and loves playing with her shape puzzles and buckle boards.
She has been doing a great job of using her potty, of which Aaron and I can take zero credit for as it's been something the nanny wanted to take on. We are so grateful for our awesome nanny Tabitha, who still comes Wednesday to Friday while Tasha is at work. Kenna-Rae really enjoys her time with Tabitha and they go on fun outdoor adventures most days. We our so thankful that Tabitha has turned out to be the perfect match for our family, and we plan on having her here until Aaron retires in 2025.
Kenna-Rae still has a passion for music and loves to get her groove on. She will be in the middle of a task and when a song comes on that she really likes she drops everything to dance.
For us grown ups, we have been enjoying the fall:) Aaron has been working hard keeping up with the yard, and organizing the storage, which we never seem to have enough of.
For myself, I received notice from my office landlord that he will be renting out the entire building to a new tenant, and so I will no longer have my office as of the end of the year. I have a few options but all of them mean working from home for a period of time, one option leaves me home for a few weeks, another option has me working from home until roughly the summer, and the third option is that I work from home until the pandemic is over, and then look for an office at that time. Aaron is looking into building a garage in the backyard, which I could use as an office for the new year, until I resume seeing clients in person again (which won't be anytime soon). Finding accessible office space in this town is very challenging at the best of times, so leaving it may not be wise.
