A Weekend with Kane & Kole

Kane and Kole came to Ladysmith to spend a night and as usual lots of fun was had! The boys wanted to try on uncle Aaron's goalie gear.  It was quite humorous watching them get all geared up and taking turns putting on that stinky gear.

We love playing games, and I got to teach the boys how to play dominoes.

Then Aaron and the boys made a makeshift goal and got some practice in.

The boys love Roberts Street Pizza and were excited to have it again with some cut up veggies.

Saturday we went to the Victoria Bug Zoo.  Kane isn't a big fan of having his picture taken, so most pictures are of Kole.

We left Victoria and headed back north to Campbell River.  Along the way we dropped Aaron off at the ferry so he could head to the Sunshine Coast to meet our nieces.  I went up to Campbell River to watch Kole's final hockey tournament in Campbell River on the Sunday.

Kole played the first couple of games in goal.

The second to last game Kole was playing out and goal 4 goals!

Kole was back in goal for the final game.

Kole got 2 MVPs and they won all their games!  A great way to end the season.

Cowichan Bay Estuary

Today Aaron and I went out to the Cowichan Bay Estuary for an afternoon to get some fresh air and connect with the world around us.  It was just what we needed!

Saltspring & The Cowichan Valley

Today we spent time visiting dear friends on Saltspring Island, which was a lovely getaway.
